The Fresno man convicted of sodomizing two infants who was at large this weekend has been arrested by Fresno police.

As of Monday morning, Kenneth Lawson, 27, is in custody at a Fresno County jail.

The California Department of Corrections issued a warrant for Lawson on April 16. He was released on GPS-monitored parole, but it is believed that Lawson cut off his GPS tracking ankle bracelet.

At the time, the California Department of Corrections believed Lawson could have been in Fresno, Stanislaus or Tuolumne county.

Although he was arrested in Fresno, the Turlock community showed its interest in helping with his arrest by sharing TurlockCityNews.com’s original story on Lawson more than 1,700 times.
