Turlock police arrested a male subject armed with a handgun on Aug. 5 after he threatened to kill members of his family.
Officers responded to the 1200 block of Pioneer Road last Wednesday at 10:30 p.m. for a disturbance. According to Turlock police spokesperson Officer Mayra Lewis, Alfred Arraiz, 57, was making criminal threats toward family members.
Arraiz threatened to kill members of his family with a handgun, said Officer Mayra Lewis.
When officers arrived, they located Arraiz outside of the residence and found he was armed with a loaded handgun.
Arraiz was taken into custody without incident and arrested on suspicion of making criminal threats.
