Turlock police arrested a subject on Thursday evening after he was found camping out in a business’s parking lot.

The subject, later identified as Brian Sparks, 47, was arrested and booked for an active misdemeanor domestic violence warrant and for violating a restraining order.

Turlock police responded to the 300 block of South Thor Street on the report of a subject camping out in a parking lot at approximately 6:40 p.m.

Officers contacted Sparks, and found that he had an active warrant for a misdemeanor domestic violence case.

Sparks was also found in violation of a restraining order that kept him away from his girlfriend, whom he was with at the time, Turlock police spokesperson Sgt. Victor Barcelos.
