A man suspected of breaking into laundry machines at a Turlock apartment complex in August was arrested early Tuesday morning.

Matthew Arriaz, 39, was arrested and booked for burglary and violation of his probation terms.

Arriaz was allegedly the suspect in a burglary at an apartment complex on the 1100 block of Pioneer Avenue on Aug. 15, said Turlock police spokesperson Officer Mayra Lewis.

The Turlock Police Department reviewed surveillance tape of the incident, where a subject was breaking into laundry machines at the apartment complex and identified Arriaz as the subject, said Lewis.

Arriaz was spotted by officers on the 1200 block of Pioneer Avenue at approximately 2:35 a.m. Tuesday.

Officers then contacted and arrested Arriaz.
