The Turlock Police Department is reporting that the missing 15-year-old girl reported as an abduction has been found in Las Vegas and the suspect is now in custody.
Alexis Odisho, 15, had reportedly voluntarily left with Danniel Boone Morgan II, believed to be in his early thirties, and authorities believed they were traveling to Oklahoma or possibly Mexico.
The two were located early Thursday morning in Las Vegas and Morgan was taken into custody by authorities, reports Turlock police.
Odisho is safe and well and will be reunited with her family soon, say Turlock police.
Turlock police has confirmed that Morgan is a police officer with the Kiowa Police Department in Oklahoma and is on administrative leave. TurlockCityNews.com has reached out to Kiowa police for more information on Morgan’s status.
“The Turlock Police Department would like to thank ALL of the police agencies involved in this 22 hour long investigation which has resulted in a very joyous and successful conclusion of our investigation and the safe return of a child,” the Turlock Police Department said in a news release.
