A Turlock police officer was assaulted while breaking up a fight outside of the Red Brick Bar & Grill early Saturday.

At approximately 1:23 a.m., a Turlock police officer was attempting to break up a fight outside of Red Brick.

Hoeuy Ham, 24, was allegedly fighting a security guard, when the officer intervened.

While attempting to take Ham into custody, another male subject sneaked up behind the officer and allegedly kicked the officer.

Ham was arrested and booked for fighting in public.

The subject who allegedly assaulted the officer, Monceca Kloak, 24, was arrested and booked for battery on a peace officer.
