TurlockCityNews.com|

A potential child predator may be taking pictures of children on the northeast area of Turlock.

A Turlock family has shared a Facebook post stating they have seen an older man taking photos of their children multiple times in the northeast area of Turlock.

The family has since filed a report with the Turlock Police Department. Turlock police spokesperson Officer Mayra Lewis has confirmed the report, and said the Turlock Police Department is doing what they can with the limited information they have.

The man is described as an Assyrian or Hispanic male in his late 50s or early 60s, with dark hair and clean shaven. He has been seen wearing a golf cap. He was seen driving an older model green sedan, possibly a Ford Taurus.

The family was contacted through Nextdoor saying a man matching the description has been seen taking photos of children at Dennis Earl Elementary. This could not be confirmed by Lewis.

The Facebook post says that several boys were allegedly followed by the subject while they were riding bikes in the neighborhood, and the subject took photos of them. The next day, the subject was allegedly in the neighborhood again, with his phone in-hand. Two days after the man allegedly returned, but promptly left when he was spotted.

Anyone with information on the man is asked to contact the Turlock Police Department at 209-668-1200.
