On Wednesday, April 19th, 2023, at 2:25 am, the Turlock Police Department and Stanislaus State Police Department were dispatched to a reported trespass in progress at Safeway, 3051 Countryside Dr, Turlock, after two men had refused to leave the restroom where they were drinking a bottle of Vodka that they had taken off the shelf.

By the time officers arrived on scene, one of the men had left, however, the other was still there. The man who was left was immediately recognized as Mario Williams, 40, of Turlock, someone who police have to deal with a countless number of times daily whenever he’s not in jail.

Officers had their dispatcher run Williams and they discovered that he was wanted for a burglary that had occurred at 9:23 am the prior morning. Williams had entered the Jamba at 3100 Countryside Dr, walked into an employee-only area, grabbed a deposit bag from a back table, and walked out. The responding officer reviewed surveillance camera video and was immediately able to identify Williams as the suspect.

Williams was arrested and a search incident to arrest led to the discovery of the stolen deposit bag. Regardless of this, Williams decided to play dumb and act like he knew nothing, just like he normally does.

Williams was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on the charge of burglary.

We previously mentioned that police have to deal with Williams a countless number of times daily whenever he’s not in jail. This is Williams’ fourth time going to jail so far this year and has spent the majority of his year in jail. Whenever he’s out, he can’t seem to stay out for too long, is called on several times a day, and has a thing for stealing bicycles, sometimes straight out of people’s garages.

Williams is also known for being a creep toward women. Immediately after the Jamba burglary, someone matching his description attempted to follow a woman into her home on Trellis Ln, extremely close to Jamba.
