On Monday, May 16th, 2022, at 10:33 pm, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported disturbance in progress at a residence in the 600 block of Geer Rd, Turlock, after a female had called to report that her and her sister were getting into it because her sister was off of her medications.

As officers were responding to the scene, they learned that the reporting party, Athea Gonzalez, 33, of Turlock, had six different warrants. One was a local felony warrant for assault with a deadly weapon other than a firearm and the other five were misdemeanor warrants out of Tuolumne County for drug and failure to appear charges.

Officers arrived at the residence and found that both parties had left. An officer looking for Gonzalez eventually located her just a few minutes later in the 1000 block of Julian Street.

Gonzalez was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on her warrants.
