The Ripon Police Department located a Turlock man on Thursday who was wanted for allegedly drugging and raping a co-worker in April.

The incident allegedly occurred while both the suspect, Pedro Ramirez, 30, of Turlock, and the victim worked together at the Ripon Carl’s Jr. on Colony Road.

Authorities had trouble locating Ramirez because he had allegedly used false identification information to obtain the job.

After Ripon detectives questioned Ramirez, he was turned over to U.S. Immigration investigators. The Ripon Police Department has not reported that an arrest has been made.

The case is now being forwarded to the San Joaquin County District Attorney’s Office for review.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to contact the Ripon Police Department at 209-599-2102.
