Second Big Turlock Drug Bust in a Week, 142 Marijuana Plants Seized Worth $500,000

The Turlock Police Narcotics Enforcement Team seized about $500,000 worth of marijuana and arrested three people on Wednesday.
 
Police searched a house in the 300 block of Wabash Drive near Donnelly Park. 142 marijuana plants were discovered in rooms converted specifically for growing the plants and had hidden entrances.
 
Ryan Hanson, 24, Michael Lopes, 21, and Stefanie White, 20, were arrested for suspicion of cultivation of marijuana.
 
Police also found a rifle and a shotgun at the residence. Ryan Hanson was also arrested on a weapons violation.
 
The Turlock Police Narcotics Enforcement Team is newly formed and just had their first big drug bust reported on March 20, 2009. The teams seized 391 marijuana plants from a residence located in the 4000 block of St. Patrick Place worth over an estimated $1,000,000.
