At about 4:30pm Saturday afternoon, Turlock Police responded to an aggravated assault that had just occurred in the 200 block of N. Center Street, where two men were reportedly shooting at each other.

By the time officers arrived on scene, both the involved parties had left the area.

Through witness statements, two different vehicle descriptions were obtained. One was a silver Nissan Altima with black wheels and missing hubcaps, while the other was a silver or gray Honda, possibly an Accord.

Officers were able to locate several 9mm shell casings in the street which they collected and booked into evidence.

The investigation remains ongoing.
