On Saturday, September 25th, 2021, at 10:21 pm, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported shooting behind The Grand Cru, 130 W Main St, Turlock.

When officers arrived on scene, they located evidence of a shooting behind the business, but no involved parties around.

Officers made contact with a witness who told them that there was a fight involving several males which started down the street from where it ended up and that during the fight, one of the involved subjects pulled out a handgun and began to fire it into the air. The witness then told officers that all the involved parties got into two different vehicles, a green pickup truck and a white sedan and took off from the area.

Officers checked the area for both vehicles but were unable to locate them.

No injuries were reported.

The investigation remains on-going.
