On Friday, June 18th, 2021, at approximately 9:25 am, the Turlock Police Department received a call of a drive-by shooting that had just occurred at the intersection of Fulkerth Rd and N Tully Rd. Officers arrived on scene and began searching for two involved vehicles, a white sedan and blue sedan, but were unable to locate them.

Officers began interviewing witnesses and were able to establish that a westbound white sedan had fired shots at an eastbound blue sedan who was in the westbound lanes. Fulkerth Rd was briefly closed down as officers collected evidence. Officers are currently reviewing security cameras in the area to identify the two parties involved. It remains unknown what caused the shooting.
