The Turlock Police Department arrested six burglars on Wednesday, after a suspicious neighbor called dispatchers to report an unknown car in a neighbor's driveway.

The incident occurred at 9:17 a.m., when dispatchers received a call reporting the vehicle in the 2000 block of Roth Ct. According to the caller, the vehicle was parked in a neighbor's driveway and contained several unknown individuals.

The caller also said he heard a “loud noise,” and that he believed his neighbor's home was being robbed.

Turlock Police officers found the vehicle near the intersection of Countryside Drive and Roth Court, where they pulled the vehicle over. One suspect ran, but was apprehended following a short chase on foot.

Officers searched the car and found two rifles, a shotgun, a handgun, a wallet, and a cell phone – all stolen goods. Turlock Police believe the items came from two separate, unreported burglaries.

Arturo Morales, 18, Joey Mosqueda, 18, Monique Romero, 18, Ricky Florez, 23, a 17 year-old female, and a 17 year-old male, were all arrested and booked for two counts of burglary and criminal conspiracy. All of the suspects are from Modesto, save for Romero, who is from Ceres.

The adults were booked into Stanislaus County Jail, while the minors were booked into Juvenile Hall.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Det. Amy Beebe at (209) 668-5550 ext. 6629.
