Junior pitcher Spencer Snodgrass has been named Wilson California Collegiate Athletic Association Baseball Pitcher of the Week for the week of Feb. 9-15.
The right-handed from Turlock tossed a complete-game three-hit shutout in the Warriros series-opening 6-0 victory over Central Washington. Snodgrass struck out five and did not walk a batter while throwing just 82 pitches in a game that lasted just two hours and 18 minutes.
Snodgrass, a transfer from San Jose State, pitched just two batters over theminimum. His performance set the stage for the Warriors’ four-game sweep of Central Washington. The Warriors are now riding an eight-game winning streak and is ranked No. 2 in this week’s Collegiate Baseball top 30 poll.
