The Stanislaus County Fair will look to hire nearly 500 new employees this month, as staff readies for the fair's 102nd running this July.
A job fair will be held from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. April 18, at the fairgrounds, for those interested in working at the 2013 Stanislaus County Fair.
“We are looking for the best possible staff to work at this year’s Fair,” said Chris Borovansky, CEO of the Stanislaus County Fair. “The Stanislaus County Fair is supported by its diverse community, and in times like these, we want to show that job opportunities exist right here in Turlock. We truly believe in our community and want our community to know that we support them as well.”
Positions available for the 2013 Stanislaus County Fair include but are not limited to: ticket sellers and takers, customer service representatives, maintenance staff, office staff, exhibit clerks, livestock crew attendants, and security.
The Stanislaus County Fair offers a great opportunity for a short-term summer job, fair staff said.
