Stanislaus Sheriff’s Department Reports 17 Year Old Assaults Family Members, Killing One

The Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department arrested a 17 year old juvenile after she assaulted family members, killing one of them.  Witnesses stated they heard people arguing for over an hour in the 3000 block of Salluce Dr. in Denair before the Sheriff’s Department was called and responded. 

 

According to a Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department press release, deputies arrived on scene at approximately 8:15 yesterday evening and located 62 year old Kenneth Wills and 61 year old Susan Wills, both had been assaulted and were suffering from multiple injuries. 

 
Susan Wills was transported by ambulance to a local hospital where she is currently in stable condition.  Kenneth Wills was pronounced dead at the scene.  A 17 year juvenile, whose name is being withheld due to her being a minor, was taken into custody by Deputies on scene. 
 
The Stanislaus County Investigations Unit was called out and is following up all investigative leads.  The 17 year old juvenile is being held on charges of homicide, attempted homicide, and assault with a deadly weapon.
