Students, Teachers, Administrators Invited to Central California Math Project Conference

The 14th Annual Central California Math Project Conference will bring together students, teachers, and administrators to learn about current issues in K-12 math education on Saturday at California State University, Stanislaus.

Topics covered at the all-day conference will include trends in education reform, Common Core standards, enjoying the transition to Common Core, and techniques for teaching English language learners..

Additional topics include algebra in high school chemistry, tips on using technology in the classroom, and tried practical strategies from experienced teachers on reviewing and re-teaching with “pizzazz.”

CSU Stanislaus students, K-12 teachers, and school and county administrators are invited to participate in the conference.

Several classroom teachers, math faculty, and education specialists will be presenting and facilitating at the conference.

The CCMP Conference will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday in Demergasso-Bava Hall at CSU Stanislaus.

Registration for CCMP Conference is $35. The registration fee includes lunch and conference materials.

The registration form and additional information can be found here. Forms and fees can be mailed to the address on the registration form or turned in on-site the day of the conference.

Parking at CSU Stanislaus is free on Saturdays.
