Sunday at the Stanislaus County Fair: Free Til 3pm, Diego Verdaguer and Amanada Miguel, Mud Bog and Lawn Mower Races

Sunday at the Stanislaus County Fair is Cencal Beverage Day benefitting youth sports through Arrowhead Club at the Fair. The first 1,000 guests in line for the Fair get free gifts from Cencal. It is also Recycle Sunday where guests can receive $2 off (1) adult admission ticket with six (6) or more empty aluminum cans, benefitting youth sports through Arrowhead Club. It is also “Free ‘til 3” sponsored by Fox 40. All fair guests get in the Fair for free until 3:00 p.m.

Diego Verdaguer and Amanda Miguel will be performing on the free stage at 8:30pm. The concert is free with the price of Fair admission while seating is available on a first come first serve basis after 5pm.

In the Arena, Mud Bog Races and Lawn Mower Races will take place starting at 6:30pm. The event is $8 in addition to Fair admission.

The 2012 Fair will feature the highly popular Rainforest Adventure, along with the Rainforest Animal Shows sponsored by Monte Vista Small Animal Hospital. Also planned for 2012 are nine nights of metal-mashing motorsports plus one night of rodeo in the Arena, a total of four stages of live entertainment, upwards of 30,000 local exhibits and over 1,750 animals.

The Fairgrounds open at 12pm and the exhibit buildings close at 11pm, while the carnival closes at 12am on Sunday.
