Turlock police arrested a suspect who was allegedly in a physical altercation in which the victim was allegedly attacked with a butter knife.

Alexandra Correa, 33, was arrested and booked for assault with a deadly weapon and for felony domestic violence related battery.

Officers responded to the 3000 block of Christoffersen Parkway after Correa was allegedly involved in a physical altercation just after midnight on Nov. 5.

Correa allegedly assaulted the victim with a butter knife, said Turlock police spokesperson Officer Mayra Lewis.

The victim was injured, but suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the alleged assault.
