Suspect Arrested Back-to-Back Days for Warrant, Violation of Court Order

A suspect was arrested on back-to-back days of June 14 and 15 for a misdemeanor warrant and the violation of a court order, respectively.

At approximately 8:02 p.m. Saturday, while patrol units were in the 200 block of Pedras Road, a suspect with a misdemeanor warrant, Michael Haynes, 28, allegedly attempted to hide from officers.

When Haynes spotted the officers, he attempted to avoid contact by going into an apartment complex in the area.

While handling the incident, the officers also contacted Vivian Esparza, 26, who had a felony warrant.

Haynes was arrested for a misdemeanor warrant. Esparza was arrested for the felony warrant.

The following day, Haynes was arrested once again.

At approximately 10:43 p.m., Turlock police officers responded to the 1900 block of Asbury Court.

Haynes had a no-contact domestic violence restraining order against him which he violated by making phone calls to the victim, said Turlock police spokesperson Officer Mayra Lewis.

Haynes was arrested at the scene for violation of a court order.
