Turlock police arrested a male subject with a handgun on Monday night following a domestic dispute.

Officers responded to the 200 block of Florence Street on the report of a domestic dispute at approximately 8:06 p.m.

A male subject, Jarrod Teschera, 29, had allegedly assaulted a victim during the dispute and then fled the scene, reports the Turlock Police Department.

Teschera was later located by an officer near railroad tracks at First Street and Canal Drive.

A search allegedly revealed that Teschera was in possession of a handgun, according to the Turlock Police Department.

He was arrested and booked for domestic battery, violation of a restraining order, and several gun related charges.
