Suspect Gives False Name, Damages Jack in the Box Door Frame

A male suspect was arrested on Tuesday night, after being involved in an argument with a Jack in the Box customer that led to damage to the property.

Charles Ireland, 48, was allegedly involved in a verbal argument with a customer at the Jack in the Box, located at 100 N. Golden State Blvd. around 7:42 p.m. on Oct. 7.

According to Turlock police spokesperson Officer Mayra Lewis, Ireland allegedly tried to hit the customer and kicked the door frame of the business in the process of the argument.

Ireland then fled from the restaurant.

Officers responded and located Ireland on Main Street. When they contacted Ireland, he allegedly gave them a false name, reports the Turlock Police Department.

Ireland was positively identified as the suspect that caused the damage to the door frame, said the Turlock Police Department.

He was arrested and booked.
