An 18-year-old was tased and arrested by officers on Tuesday night following a disturbance near Monte Vista Crossings.

Officers responded to the area of Tuolumne Road and Countryside Drive at approximately 8:48 p.m. in response to a report of domestic disturbance.

According to Turlock police spokesperson Officer Mayra Lewis, there were subjects arguing in the area of Tuolumne Road and Countryside Drive.

Officers from the California State University Stanislaus Police Department responded first, but a male subject, Kevin Corvelo, 18, would not comply with police.

Turlock police officers arrived, and Corvelo was ultimately tased and arrested.

Corvelo was taken into custody for resisting arrest.
