Suspicious person call results in felony warrant arrest Tuesday night

On Tuesday, August 16th, 2022, at 10:16 pm, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported suspicious person near the intersection of S Rose St and Cottonwood St, Turlock.

When officers arrived in the area, they made contact with a man who matched the description, Casey Nahinu, 40, of Modesto, and had their dispatcher run him.

Nahinu returned with a local felony $75,000 warrant for carrying a concealed dirk or dagger and a misdemeanor $5,000 warrant out of Merced County for driving under the influence of drugs.

Nahinu was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on his warrants.
