Suspicious person contact leads to felony warrant arrests Tuesday night

On Tuesday, July 26th, 2022, at 8:36 pm, a Turlock Police officer near Smoke Depot, 500 Lander Ave, Turlock, made contact with a suspicious person.

The officer identified the man as Robert Mendoza, 40, of Turlock, and had his dispatcher run him.

Mendoza returned with two felony warrants and one misdemeanor warrant for charges including domestic violence inflicting corporal injury, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon or person addicted to a narcotic, possession of ammunition by a prohibited person, and possession of burglary tools.

Mendoza was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on his warrants.
