Suspicious vehicle contact leads to arrest on two misdemeanor warrants Saturday afternoon

On Saturday, April 15th, 2023, at 1:21 pm, a Turlock Police officer near the intersection of N Front St and N Broadway, Turlock, observed and got out with a suspicious vehicle.

The officer made contact with and identified the vehicle’s two occupants, including Eric Shepherd, 36, of Turlock.

When the officer had his dispatcher run the two, he discovered that Shepherd had two $9,555 misdemeanor bench warrants. The first was a local one for vandalism and trespassing, while the second was out of Stanislaus State for forgery, possession of methamphetamines, and driving a vehicle with a suspended driver’s license.

Shepherd was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on his warrants.
