Suspicious vehicle contact leads to felony warrant and weapon arrests Thursday night

On Thursday, July 28th, 2022, at 10:12 pm, Turlock Police investigators near Arco AMPM, 2219 Lander Ave, Turlock, observed a vehicle in the parking lot which was occupied by a man they recognized to have a felony warrant, so they got out with it.

The investigators made contact with the vehicle’s two occupants, Ricky Agundez, 41, of Turlock, and Michael Nisan, 28, of Turlock, and had their dispatcher run them.

Sure enough, Agundez returned with a felony warrant for burglary as well as a misdemeanor warrant for shoplifting.

Investigators conducted a probable cause search of Nisan after they observed him in possession of drug paraphernalia, and a stabbing weapon readily available was found concealed on him.

Both men were arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center, Agundez on his warrants and Nisan on charges of carrying a concealed dirk or dagger.
