Third Suspect in Home Invasion Arrested

The third man suspected of conspiring with two other suspects, including a Turlock man, in a Modesto home invasion was arrested on Sept. 4 in Lake County.

Daniel Reagan, 27, was arrested for violating his parole, resisting arrest, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the Lake County Sheriff’s Department. He will be facing additional charges for the alleged home invasion.

Reagan was the third suspect wanted for a July 28 home invasion on the 2800 block of Stoneridge Drive in Modesto.

Richard White, 38, of Turlock, was arrested in a Turlock home by U.S. Marshalls on Aug. 21 in connection with the July 28 home invasion.

According to the Modesto Police Department, White and Reagan allegedly conspired with Maureen Buchanan, 31, to rob the Modesto home.

Buchanan allegedly let White and Reagan into a home she was visiting. The two male suspects allegedly had a firearm, ransacked the home, and struck the victim in the head with the gun.

Buchanan was arrested shortly after the July 28 incident and is facing charges including home invasion, robbery, carjacking, and conspiracy. White is facing similar charges.

Reagan remains in custody in Lake County.
