TID to Consider Lease Agreement for Patterson Office

The Turlock Irrigation District Board of Directors will meet Tuesday to vote to approve a five-year lease agreement for the Patterson Remote Office.

The office, located at 34 North Third Street in Patterson serves as a customer service location where customers can pay bills.

The Patterson office opened in 2007 with an adjoining space added in 2009. In October and November 2014, the respective leases had expired.

According to TID, a comprehensive review had been conducted on the current space, and other available spaces within Patterson City limits were considered. Additionally, per the review, a summary report with improvements were provided to customers.

Ultimately, it was determined that the present location of the Patterson office was best suited to meet the District’s needs over the next five years.

The five-year lease extension includes the option of two five-year extension options.

Additionally, the Board of Directors will meet to vote on a variety of other issues including:

  • Approving applications for installations of side gates
  • A resolution declaring some District property no longer necessary, authorizing some items for sale

The board will also hold a public rate hearing, as TID considers doubling irrigation rates for customers.

The TID Board of Directors will meet Tuesday, Jan. 13 at 9 a.m. in the Board Room of the TID Main Office Building, 333 E. Canal Dr.
