Turlock Police and Fire personnel have responded to the area of Golden State Boulevard, between Hawkeye Avenue and Del’s Lane, due to reports of a pedestrian being hit.

At about 7:20 p.m., police have blocked off Golden State between Hawkeye and Del’s.

Drivers traveling northbound on Golden State are being detoured onto Del’s Lane while traffic going southbound is being diverted onto Front Street.

Drivers are being asked to stay clear of the area if possible.

A shopping cart turned over on the ground is seen near the crosswalk going across Golden State toward Del’s.

Police are looking at a vehicle stopped just passed the intersection of Golden State and Del’s.

An air ambulance was requested to land at Summerfaire Park.
