A traffic advisory is being warned at Daubenberger and Verduga roads, as the Turlock Police Department reports a suspect allegedly set his house on fire and may be armed.
Due to the ongoing incident, Daubenberger Road is closed at Canal Drive and East Avenue and Verduga Road is closed at Hawkeye and East avenues. East Avenue is closed at Daubenberger Road and Roselawn Avenue. The house fire is located on the 400 block of Verduga Road in Denair.
California Highway Patrol, Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department, Turlock Police Department, Turlock Rural Fire Department, Denair Fire Department, and Hilmar Fire Department are all on scene at a house on fire that may have been the result of arson.
