Turlock firefighters are on the scene of a vehicle collision between a big rig and black Ford on West Main Street, near the southbound Highway 99 on ramp.
The incident occurred at approximately 2:02 p.m. and preliminary information from the California Highway Patrol that the big rig ran through the intersection hitting the black vehicle and continued southbound.
Public safety personnel responding indicated that skids marks at the scene may place the point of impact at the center of the intersection.
Traffic on West Main Street is progressing, however, firefighters have an engine blocking the right lane going east.
Access to Highway 99 is still available to eastbound traffic, while the left turn lane onto the southbound 99 onramp is blocked at this time.
