On Sunday, June 26th, 2022, at 5:22 pm, a Turlock Police officer near Broadway Park, 501 N Broadway, Turlock, observed a vehicle violate the California Vehicle Code, so he made a traffic stop on it.
The officer made contact with the vehicle’s driver, Marion Phillips, 66, of Turlock, and was informed by him that he believed he had a felony warrant.
The officer had his dispatcher run Phillips and sure enough, he returned with a felony warrant for possession of ammunition by a prohibited person and possession of methamphetamines. He also returned with two misdemeanor warrants, both for driving with a suspended driver’s license due to a DUI conviction.
Phillips was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on his warrants.
