Trio of Females Refuse to Pay Cab Fare, Arrested

A trio of females who refused to pay their cab fare on early Sunday morning were arrested in Turlock for charges including drunk in public and battery.

Turlock police responded to the 3500 block of Crowell Road around 2:02 a.m. on Sunday on a report of subjects refusing to pay their cab fare.

Upon arriving, officers located three female subjects, Toiesine Early, 30, Brittany Alexander, 25, and Veronica Magana, 28, according to the Turlock Police Department.

Early allegedly hit the cab driver, and was arrested for battery, said Turlock police spokesperson Sgt. Stephen Webb.

Alexander was arrested for being drunk in public, but while the officer was making the arrest, she attempted to pull away from officer; Alexander was additionally charged with resisting arrest, reports the Turlock Police Department.

Magana was also arrested for being drunk in public, according to the Turlock Police Department.
