The Troops to College Stanislaus Committee at California State University (CSU) Stanislaus will collect gift donations for troops at the campus’ Holiday Bazaar on December 5th, from 10am to 1pm, in the Main Dining Hall on the Turlock campus.
Donations of food and snacks, personal hygiene products, and other items will be accepted, and all donations should be new and in the original packaging. Cash donations to assist with shipping costs will also be accepted.
Suggested donations include beef jerky, trail mix, chex mix, crackers, hand sanitizer, hand warmers, sunblock, shampoo, mouthwash, white or black socks, sunglasses, handheld games, puzzle and word game books, disposable cameras, small flashlights, AT&T phone cards, and CDs and DVDs.
The Troops to College Committee, as part of the Veterans Affairs Office at CSU Stanislaus, offers unlimited opportunities to help veterans, active-duty members and their families meet their personal and professional goals.
