On Friday, March 4th, 2022, at 8:52 pm, a Turlock Police officer near the intersection of W Main St and N Kilroy Rd, Turlock, observed a driver violating the California Vehicle Code, so he attempted to make a traffic stop on him.
The driver did not want to stop for the officer and a pursuit ensued. The driver went westbound on W Main St all the way up to Faith Home Rd, before the officer terminated the pursuit due to safety reasons.
Speeds during the pursuit reached approximately one hundred miles per hour.
The vehicle was in attendance of a truck meet that was advertised as a “park and chill meet” beforehand.
The investigation remains on-going.
