Truck Stolen From One Turlock Business to Steal Furniture From Another Turlock Business

Two Turlock businesses were the victim of theft on the morning of December 28, 2011. A truck was stolen from Souza’s Propane at 199 West Canal Drive. At 9:26am on Wednesday, Sheriff’s Deputies responded to 4918 Taylor Court for a commercial burglary at Wood’s Furniture which involved the stolen truck.

When deputies arrived they found that a portion of the perimeter fence to the business had been knocked down. During the investigation Deputies found that sometime during the early morning hours three suspects in the stolen truck drove through the gate of the business. Once in the lot they forced entry into the business and stole several pieces of furniture.

The truck was later found in Fresno, CA abandoned and empty.

At this point the vehicle theft is under investigation by the Turlock Police Department and the commercial burglary is under investigation by the Sheriff’s Department. Neither agency has any further information to provide on the suspects.
