Turlock Black Lives Matter Co-Founder injured in vehicle collision Monday afternoon

On Monday, March 28th, 2022, at 1:20 pm, the Turlock Police Department, Turlock Fire Department, and American Medical Response were dispatched to a reported vehicle collision with injuries at the intersection of W Main St and northbound State Route 99, Turlock.

When crews arrived on scene, they found a single vehicle involved, a white Subaru sedan, which had collided into a pole.

The vehicle had a single occupant, one of the Co-Founders of Turlock Black Lives Matter, Jaimee Ellison, 25, of Turlock. She suffered minor injuries, it is currently unknown if she was transported to a hospital or not.

The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was deemed inoperable as a result of the collision, requiring it to be towed away.

It is currently unknown how the collision occurred, however, Ellison claimed on a social media post that it was a result of a medical emergency.
