Turlock Chamber Breakfast to Feature “State of the City”

David Fransen

The Turlock Chamber of Commerce Annual Membership Breakfast – highlighted by a speech from Mayor John Lazar usually referred to as his “State of the City” address – is just over a week away.

The membership breakfast will be held at 7:30 a.m. Feb. 20, in the Carnegie Arts Center.

Last year Lazar broke news of the impending arrival of Old Navy and Ulta during his address.

But Lazar's address is just one of many attractions for the event, which will also feature Chamber President and CEO Sharon Silva partnering with Chamber Board Chair Mike Romeo to deliver a State of the Chamber address.

Additionally, Stanislaus County Board of Supervisors Chairman Vito Chiesa will provide an update on the County, while California State University Stanislaus Interim President Joe Sheley and Turlock Unified School District Superintendent Sonny Da Marto will speak on their respective organizations.

The event is sponsored by CSU Stanislaus and Emanuel Medical Center.

Individual tickets are $35, with table sponsorships available for $400. Pre-registration for the event is required by Feb. 15.
