Turlock High Student Arrested for Throwing Chair at Staff

A Turlock High School student was arrested on Thursday morning after allegedly throwing a chair at a campus supervisor while on campus.

Turlock police responded to the high school after a 17-year-old male student was involved in an alleged incident with campus supervisors.

According to the Turlock Police Department, the student allegedly threw a chair in the direction of a campus supervisor in an attempt to hit him.

The student also allegedly made threats to hurt the campus supervisor, reports the Turlock Police Department.

A second campus supervisor attempted to aid the staff member involved in the incident, and the student allegedly threatened to hurt him as well, said Turlock police spokesperson Officer Mayra Lewis.

The student was arrested and booked at the Stanislaus County Juvenile Hall for assault with a deadly weapon and terrorist threats.
