At about 7:00am Wednesday, the Stanislaus Special Investigations Unit and Turlock Police arrived at a residence in the 2400 block of Zinfandel Lane to conduct follow-up in an investigation.

Detectives and officers were there, simultaneously with allied agencies at 11 other addresses outside Turlock, to serve search warrants into a months-long investigation into outlaw motorcycle gang activity.

The case stemmed from acts of violence that took place last year, involving a dispute amongst dozens of rival Hells Angels, Mongol, and Salida Nomads street gang members.

SIU detectives conducted follow-up investigation for several months and identified several accessories, locations, and suspects believed to be involved with the 2023 acts of violence.

As a result of the service of the warrants, several people were arrested and a large amount of contraband was recovered, including 50 firearms, gun silencers, gang indicia, narcotics, bomb-making explosive materials, and ammunition.

Agencies that assisted with the investigation include the Federal Bureau of Investigation, California Highway Patrol, Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office, Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office, Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office, Stockton Police Department, Modesto Police Department, Manteca Police Department, Turlock Police Department, and Ceres Police Department.

The investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information that could assist in it is encouraged to call the Stanislaus Special Investigations Unit at 209-558-6300.
