Turlock Man Arrested for Meth Sales

A 60-year-old Turlock man was arrested Tuesday on charges of methamphetamine sales, after a search of his residence found more than 40 bags of the drug.

Roberto Gamboa's arrest followed a Turlock Police Narcotics Enforcement Team investigation. The Team served a search warrant at Gamboa's home in the 1000 block of N. Olive Avenue on Tuesday.

During the ensuing search, detectives seized more than 40 individually-packaged bags of crystal methamphetamine, containing more than 30 grams of the drug. Additionally, detectives found cash, packaging, and other items which traditionally indicate drug sales are occurring.

Gamboa was booked in Stanislaus County Jail for possession of methamphetamine for sales, and transportation of methamphetamine.
