Turlock Police Search for Armed Robbery Suspect

Turlock Police Dispatch received a 9-1-1 call on April 17th at 4:37am, reporting that a residential robbery had just occurred on the 200 block of Rosewood Drive.  A resident awoke to noises in the house and investigated.  The female resident was confronted by two subjects inside the house in the process of burglarizing it. 
 
One subject pointed a handgun at the woman while the other removed property.  The suspects fled.  Officers responding to the area quickly located a vehicle parked nearby with some of the property inside.  That led officers to a residence in the 1000 block of English Avenue, Turlock. 
 
A search warrant was served at the residence on English and one of the two suspects was identified as Robert Penaloza, Jr. (18yrs).  Penaloza was arrested and will be booked for Residential Robbery.  The second suspect is still at large.  He is described as a white or Hispanic male, early 20’s, 5’04” – 5’6”, 140lbs.  The investigation is continuing.
