Two Turlock RadioShack locations could be closing their doors in the coming months.
RadioShack is planning to close around 500 stores nationwide in the coming months, according to a report by the Wall Street Journal on Tuesday.
It remains unclear which of the 4,300 RadioShack locations will be closing their doors, or when the closings will begin. RadioShack had no comment when asked about the rumored closings, or if either of the Turlock stores were on the chopping block.
The two RadioShack locations in Turlock are at 3161 Geer Rd., next to Michael’s, and 2201 Fulkerth Rd., in the Countryside Plaza.
RadioShack is attempting to revamp its image after poking fun at itself in a commercial claiming the company was stuck in the ‘80s, aired during Sunday’s Super Bowl.
