Turlock Youth Performing Arts Junior Company is auditioning children 8-14 years old for Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Jr. Thursday, January 29th at 5:30pm and Saturday, January 31st at 10:00am at the War Memorial located at 247 E. Canal Dr., Turlock.
Pre-Audition Workshop (optional) Students have the opportunity to work on music with directors on Tuesday, January 27th from 6:00pm – 7:30pm. Open audition (attend one) students will prepare a song of directors choice to be announced.
Registration for auditions on Thursday, January 29th will be from 5:30pm – 6:30pm and 10:00am – 11:00am on Saturday, January 31st. Auditions are first come, first served and will continue until all the children are seen.
Call backs will be Tuesday, February 3rd from 6:00pm – 7:30pm.
Rehearsals will be Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00pm – 7:30pm beginning on February 5th. Additional Saturdays TBA and nightly gatherings will be scheduled during tech week(s) production dates, May 8-10th at the Turlock Community Theatre. Fees will be $175. A limited number of scholarships are available.
