Sometimes when graduation day comes along at the end of a student’s high school senior year things aren’t always complete and it takes that extra effort in the face of adversity to get it done.

It would be easy for a young person on the cusp of adulthood to simply give up and walk away. Fortunately a group of seniors from Turlock Unified School District schools didn’t give up and completed their high school diplomas over the summer of their senior year.

On Tuesday the TUSD Board of Trustees honored a group of 2014 graduates who completed their senior studies over the summer.
