On Wednesday, August 17th, 2022, at 12:48 am, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported auto burglary in progress at Reliable Termite Solutions, 2854 Lassiter Ln, Turlock, after two men had been seen on surveillance camera walking around a fenced area and going through a vehicle.

Officers arrived on scene along with the victim to investigate and found the two men, later identified as Raymond Kessler, 42, of Patterson, and Nicholas White, 43, of Ceres, on the property with the items that had been stolen. The two were detained at gunpoint for the investigation.

During the course of the investigation, officers determined that the vehicle the men had been seen going through was unlocked, so there was no burglary and it was just a larceny and trespassing.

When officers had their dispatcher run the two subjects, White returned with a local felony $100,000 warrant for making criminal threats. Additionally, a subsequent search of White led to the discovery of drug paraphernalia.

Kessler and White were both arrested, Kessler was released on a citation on charges of theft and trespassing, while White was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of trespassing, theft, and possession of drug paraphernalia, as well as his warrant.
