Two arrested after traffic stop leads to narcotics sales evidence Wednesday afternoon

On Wednesday, February 8th, 2023, at 1:03 pm, Turlock Police investigators near the intersection of N Front St and N Golden State Blvd, Turlock, observed a driver violating the California Vehicle Code, so they made a traffic stop on him.

The investigators made contact with and identified the vehicle’s two occupants, Nickole Espinoza, 41, and Jacob Vigil, 39, both of Turlock.

The two consented to a vehicle search which led to the discovery of narcotics sales evidence. Espinoza then consented to the search of her room at a nearby motel which led to the discovery of additional narcotics sales evidence.

Additionally, Vigil was discovered to not have a valid driver’s license.

Espinoza and Vigil were both arrested, Espinoza was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on the charge of possession of a controlled substance for sale, while Vigil was released on a citation on the charge of driving without a valid driver’s license.
